I have a Mac Book Pro FlowTools ProTools audio interface question.
Tried to access the PT Access group but couldn't get it to work. So I
hope you bear with me, Off-line contact is welcome.
Do I understand correctly FlowTools allows accessibility to Sonus or
Focusrite audio interfaces via ProTools?
I was told:
"It actually shouldn't be an issue, because those interfaces don't
have any screens or visual information, other than LEDs. Once you
connect the USB cable, In Pro Tools you connect to the interface under
the Setup menu, specifically under "hardware" and "playback engine."
Any connections made to channels on your interface are done in the Pro
Tools software, which Flow Tools should be able to read. So the
interface really shouldn't matter. Does that make sense?"
Ok, if so, which Sonus or Focusrite model interface would you suggest
for me to look into. 8 ports.
Thank you in advance.
Andre
