Hi,

I'm using my old Motif 6 classic with Sonar 6.2 and ct6 through USB. Without any reason
I would have been aware of, my instrument no longer interacts properly with
my Computer.

I've set the switches in midi mode to USB, omni channel, and local off.

when I load a new project, I find all the banks and patches displayed: But
when I apply, for example, an organ or a drum pad to the midi track, there
is no sound when I hit the keys of the Motif. Still, when I load a song in
Sonar and play it, the keyboard will sound as it should do. Now, when I hit
the keys, I should hear the patch that is applied to the track I have
selected. However: no sound.

And Here's the final funny thing: When I mute or solo a track in Sonar, I
hear a sound like a very deep cymbal, followed by very high-pitched clicking
sounds in a rhythm like coming from a slow metronom.

So far, I checked all the settings in Sonar and with my Motif but just can't
find out what's up.

Can anybody give a hint? Thanks!

Wolfgang
