Try this: without playing the note data, go to the volume column and set it
to 127. Check with the keyboard, how does the patch sound? if it's back to
loud, play the track, then check. If it goes back to low, there's a control
event lowering the volume. Otherwise, check your omnisphere settings, you
might have low volume there.

Select the track you are using, go to event viewer, and look for any volume
controller messages, cc7. Remove those. Another easier way is to use the
select some filter to remove them if there are too many. Also, another thing
worth trying, check the velocities in there, the notes might have low
velocities. If so, Select your midi track and use the process/midi
fx/velocity to set the velocity to a higher number. You can set offsets, or
set all notes to an entirely new value. Note that you'll have to use jaws
cursor in that plug-in.

BTW, how does the bass sound play when you just press keys on the keyboard?
Is it normal volume, or also low?

I'm trying to move the bass part from a midi project, to another CWP project
and I want to use the bass from omnisphere.
When I copy the midi and paste it on to the track with the omnisphere bass
on it,
the data show up but the volume is so low you can barely hear it.
When I up the volume on the soft synth, to 6, and the vilosity ofset to 127,
I can hear just a tiny bit more but not enough enough to hold up in a
regular project.
What could be telling that soft synth to play at such a low volume.
