Absolutely agree - you paid for the warranty as part of the purchase price,
so you'll only be getting the value you paid for if you take it in for
service.

Rod if you have had your unit for eight months I wouldn't start messing with
putting in different screws, and washers, as this might void your warrantee.
I would bring in the unit to your retail store, and have them fix it up.
If all fails Yamaha is obligated to repair the unit to its customers
satisfaction, or replace it at no charge to you.
