When someone gets struck by lightning they tern into toast...
When someone grabs onto a rod that has electricity running through it that is not quite hot enough to fry them, but still strong enough to go through their skin their muscles constrict and they are unable to move. Then if someone touches that person they also have a muscle constriction. What happens in muscle deterioration is the body eats the muscles ever so slowly, until there is just the basic functions and then the heart goes.
I'm not sure what causes it, but I'm given to think it's genetic.
Thanks,

Brandon Keith

I've heard that when someone is struck by lightning, they would lose muscle
control. How can that be so confusing, I wonder?

yeah but how is slow neuromuscular deterioration in any way
comparable to something instantaneous like say, being struck by
lightning?
I don't get it.
