Hi I've fixed it now. I just deleted everything in the tracks and recorded it all again. Luckily it was only loops and arps, so it took about 30 minutes. Then use the Alt with the Enter keys to select the entire length (now 32 bars). I'm just offering a possible solution to get it to export correctly, although I feel like your efforts should have worked. I wonder why 8 3/4 bars??? > From: darren@xxxxxxxxxxxx > To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Odd Mix Down issue > Date: Sat, 16 May 2009 16:17:16 +0100 > > Hi > > yes, I did make sure I selected all tracks from start to finish. > > Cheers > Darren > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Berhane Kidane" <bkw11@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > To: <ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Saturday, May 16, 2009 4:15 PM > Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Odd Mix Down issue > > > > Hi Deren, > > Before you strat to export, did you check that all the tracks have been > > selected by pressing Control+Enter two times? > > If it says all the tracks have been selected from 1 to 33, then, the > > problem might be something else. > > Regards, > > Berhane > > ----- Original Message ----- > > From: "Darren H" <darren@xxxxxxxxxxxx> > > To: "Dancing Dots List" <ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > > Sent: Saturday, May 16, 2009 7:22 AM > > Subject: [ddots-l] Odd Mix Down issue > > > > > >> Hi all. > >> > >> I'm trying to Mix down a 32 bar track using the file export function. > >> > >> The first thing I do is set my start and end points to 1 and 33. > >> > >> I then do control, then enter 3 times to select all tracks from bar 1 to > >> bar 33. > >> > >> I go through the exort procedure. > >> > >> What is happening is only the first 8 and three quarter bars is being > >> mixed down. > >> > >> This happens in both exporting .wav and .mp3. > >> > >> I can't figure out what's going on. > >> > >> What should I be looking at as possible problems. > >> > >> Cheers > >> Darren > >> PLEASE READ THIS FOOTER AT LEAST ONCE! > >> To leave the list, click on the immediately following link: > >> ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe > >> If this link doesn't work then send a message to: > >> ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > >> and in the Subject line type > >> unsubscribe > >> For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the immediately > >> following link: > >> ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq or > >> send a message, to ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > >> and in the Subject line type > >> faq > >> > >> > > > > PLEASE READ THIS FOOTER AT LEAST ONCE! > > To leave the list, click on the immediately following link: > > ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe > > If this link doesn't work then send a message to: > > ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > > and in the Subject line type > > unsubscribe > > For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the immediately > > following link: > > ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq or > > send a message, to ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > > and in the Subject line type > > faq > > > > PLEASE READ THIS FOOTER AT LEAST ONCE! > To leave the list, click on the immediately following link: > ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe > If this link doesn't work then send a message to: > ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > and in the Subject line type > unsubscribe > For other list commands such as vacation mode, > click on the immediately following link: > ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq or > send a message, to > ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > and in the Subject line type > faq > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hotmail® goes with you.
