Hi:
Well, it sounds similar to what was happening with those multi track masters that were making the rounds about a year ago, which were supposed to have been done with audacity. Can't he export the project as an omf file or at least export the waves as bwf (broadcast wave files) that would be time stamped?

Subject: [ddots-l] P.S. to Logic to Sonar

Hi again All,

I just discovered, having remembered something from the distant past, that what's happening is that the file is in fact being imported but the timing is astronomically screwed. Having started the import in a new project at the beginning, the file shows up at Bar 1500. So, we could delete the first 1500 bars, but again, why is it happening and what is the elegant solution?

I'm trying to help out someone who has created a project on a Mac using Logic.

He has saved the tracks as individual WAV files and I need to import them into Sonar.

The files are 44.1 mHz 16-bit, and play fine in SoundForge and Winamp, but when I import them into Sonar they show up as dots rather than the usual wave form and don't play.

Does anyone know what's going on and how to solve it?

Best,

Peter
