I've used sibelius with sib speaking to copy choral music for a friend.
I usually use no keyboard unless I'm doing piano chord parts.

Subject: [ddots-l] Part time choir directer

That's me. Our church is looking for someone full time but for the
moment
they've asked me, well truth be told, i guess I rather invited myself,
to
help out since I have written a couple pieces I'd love to have the choir
do.
We had our first rehearsal Wednesday night laughed a great deal, and
sang
quite a bit too. All good stuff indeed. I guess sonar just isn't going
to
print all the music so that everyone can see all the parts. I can print
out
individual S A B T but not all together without having the thing be the
size
of a book. Mister Pinto says I must go with Sibalious. Is anyone else on
the
list doing this either full or part time? I'd love to chat and hear what

things you've done. I've never taking any directing classes, I'm pretty
much
a clap and point guy, ut the good people in my choir said they could
actually follow that and I think after I do it for awhile I'll learn
some
other signals that could be useful. David told me he uses a laptop, an
oxygen 8, and sibalious to compose just about anywhere. Anyone on list
using
that combo?
I could sure see myself getting a lot of writing done with that combo.
Wonder just how much I'd need to invest to have a nice clean system.
