Hi list: On May 4 of this year, I performed at the Kennedy Center with Orquesta La Leyenda, a Salsa Big Band. The performance at the Millenium Stage was an hour long. We play latin music from the Palladium era. I think the sound quality is pretty good. With regards to the mix, I would have liked the trumpets to be a little higher. The conditions on the stage were a little challenging as it usually is for a 14 piece band. I was playing a grand piano and there were some feedback issues so they could not raise the volume that much on the monitors. So, I could not hear myself that much. If you have time to hear the whole performance, you will notice at least a couple of pretty obbious mistakes. It was a challenge to hear the horn section over the percussion section. However, overall, I think it was a pretty good performance. The two singers and I are the newest members of the band. We joined La Leyenda about 9 months ago. My girlfriend, Laura Sosa, is the lead female singer. I hope you enjoy it. Below is the link. http://www.kennedy-center.org/explorer/videos/?id=M4640
