By the way, I have the dblue's stuff, and though it's good at what it does, I just need some more capabilities.

Mike, there are a few tape emulators out there, some which are free. Try
Dblue's stuff, they have a tapeStop plug and some other stuff. There was
also 1 that waas a similar 1 to Cubase's tape emulator, which did a few of
those things. You could even simulate multiple tracks, and slowing 1 down
while the other remained intact, speed warp and everything. I can't remember
the name, think it was magnito or something like that; if I come across it
in my plugs collection I'll shoot it to you.

I'm sure if you google tape emulator vst, you'll come across some good free stuff; whether it's accessible/usable or not, well, that's another story. :)
