I had a problem when I did what you said.
1.
I pOpend a project that I had.
2. I pressed F6.
3, I moved to the effects tab like ii should and went to the effects columb
to patch one. I pressed Insert3 and when JFW said "Pass key through," and I
pressed ShiftF10, jaws acted like the video intersept manager stopped
working, and I had to end the JFW process and re start it.
It's restarted now, and if I try now, should it do what it's supposed to do?
What should I do?
I have JAWS tandum and skype if someone would Like to help over a tandum
session.

Dominique,
Check to see if Shift F10 is being used by JAWS or Cakewalk in any other key
mapping configurations. One way to test this might be to use Insert+3 first,
then Shift-F10 and see if it works every time.

Speaking of laptop? I have a problem, and GF tried to help me out with this
a while back.
I have a laptop I'm using for caketalking.
But the problem I have is I have no applications key on this Desktop/Laptop
keyboard.
I have the numb-pad, but no Apps key.
When I do Shift+F10, in the effects column to patch a effect nothing
happens. I mean, to doesn't go there. It goes to the menu that lets you
insert a track or so. But there's no insert effect at all.
I sometimes can get to it, but sometimes can't. that's with me trying to go
to the clips pain, then press Right mouse button.
Nothing is happening like it should I don't think.
Is there a way to get around this without a Apps key?
I can't use Shift f10, unless I'm doing something wrong.
Please help!

Hey all you wizards out there, I have a quick and hopefully simple problem
for you. I am selecting a clip of audio and pressing shift+A to open the
audio snap dialogue. It opens, but any time I press any button, Jaws says
that it has lost focus and I have to press F6 to bring the focus back. I do
that, but still, every time I press tab or anything, it loses focus once
more.
I've double checked my windows settings, and all is well. This is on a
laptop, if that makes any difference. Any thoughts? Thanks.
