I looked at my sonar6 producer serial number, and the four letters are capitalized, then the -, then the version (in my case 6.00), the - then two groups of 6 digits seperated by a -.
If you're registered with cakewalk, you can get your serial# and registration codes from the cakewalk website. Try typing it in with the first 4 letters capped.
