if you change any ports on your p.c. at all, i.e., unhooking anything like
controllers or any midi devices, the port numbers will change. When you then re
start sonar, all your midi ports will have different numbers. This means that
any control surfaces that you use will have a new port number and you will have
to delete and read it making sure to choose the proper ports. for the FW, you
want the in and out to be FW1884 control. Hope that helps. And I hope I said
all that correctly. lol.
