Yes, the odd thing about that is that I never disconnected nor unplugged 
anything.  However, it's up and going now.

  if you change any ports on your p.c. at all, i.e., unhooking anything like 
controllers or any midi devices, the port numbers will change. When you then re 
start sonar, all your midi ports will have different numbers. This means that 
any control surfaces that you use will have a new port number and you will have 
to delete and read it making sure to choose the proper ports. for the  FW, you 
want the in and out to be FW1884 control. Hope that helps. And I hope I said 
all that correctly. lol.
