Hi:
You may have better results using Sonar as the slave as long as your roland 
puts out midi clock by default.  Also, if you do want to use the roland as the 
slave, you’ll need to set Sonar to transmit midi clock over the port that you 
are using.  If your device can send and receive MTC midi song pointer messages, 
that would be better.

Hi I have external hardware that I want to sinc to sonars midi clock.  How do I 
get this to work.  I have tried setting the internal clock to slave on the 
roland mc 909 groove box but it didn't work.  I'm using Sonar to record 
everything in.
