[ddots-l] Soft Synth as General Midi Output?

Hello,

 

                When I play the "Downtown" midi demo with Sonar 8 Producer,
I use my computer's soundcard as the midi output.  I am not satisfied with
the quality of the sounds.  Is there any way I can make a soft synth
available as a midi output option?
