1 question. What sound card are you using? Also, are you using ASIO or, WDM drivers. ASIO drivers are better as you will be able to achieve lower latency with them.

Also, checkout the following. Note: these are all in the audio options dialog box in Sonar. 1, check what the buffer settings for your sound card are. You will find the button that will open your sound cards control panel, on the first page next to the "ok" button in the audio options dialog box.

2, check the setting for your disk IO. That particular setting is on the second tab of the audio options dialog box. Again, you wil have to play with it until you find that you are experiencing less dropouts. I have mine set to 128. You may find that a setting of 64, or, a higher setting of 128, 256 or more may be better.

Hi, David,May

be people who have experience with PitchFix can give more specific direction
but did you set a restore point in Windows XP before you installed that
PitchFix? I don't know why PitchFix would have instigated drop-outs but
maybe it's installation program tweaked some Sonar or soundcard settings
without telling you about it.

Hi all, I Did a Session in Sonar I have Two vocal tracks one stereo piano track. When I recorded, I didn't have any problems. When I inserted Pitch Fix It Faded in and out. I discovered It was because it was a demo version. So I removed it Now I have problems with drop out. I cant find a pattern with it. It just happens. Someone said I didn't have Sonar set up properly. I also got a Document for tweaking my P C for audio I started doing some of the things written in the document but I still have the same problem. Where do I go from here. Thanks. David
