Greg don't go in to record mode, just right arrow 3 times and that will get you
to the pattern length screen. It's that simple my friend.
I'm a little surprised no one else seemed to know. Anyway that's the deal, just
right arrow three times, and increase and decrease will determine the length.
BTW the default is 4, but you did already know that didn't you.

Still trying to find out How to set the length of a pattern with the motif
xf. I thought it was record mode, right arrow 3 times, and use decrease and
increase to set the length. That isn't working for me. I tried down arrowing
once and then right arrowing 3 times, with no better result.
Can anyone help me with this?
If it's to complicated to write down, I'd be happy to call you, and even pay
for a little tech support. I'd just like to know how to do this basic thing.
