, can you go into the view menu and check which toolbars are checked? Post back to the list, which,
ones are checked. It could be that you have a toolbar checked that shouldn't be.

I could not get back to the track pane because my window was constantly minimized and the cursor was drawn to another window.
However, I stil can't record. I selected track 10 from bar 3 to bar 7, turned the loop on, went to the from bar and started recording. after the four ticks of the metronom it colapses. when I now press f5 I get the message 1.1. and that's it.
