1. As far as I know, I don't have extra stuff blocking the screen. 2. I don't have any hidden tracks in Sonar. _____ From: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Phil Muir Sent: Sunday, March 15, 2015 7:15 AM To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Trouble With Synth Rack In Sonar A couple of thoughts. Is there anything on screen that's preventing Jaws from seeing everything in Sonar? Or, do you have hidden tracks in Sonar? For some reason, when I have a large project with more than 10 synths in the synth rack, I try to view them in the Synth Rack, JAWS seems to be acting strange. Particularly when I try to navigate between synths with the arrow keys or even the page up and page down keys. When I press these keys, JAWS has a habit of telling me, "Please press F6". I do that, then it keeps saying that same message no matter how many times I do what it tells me. Sometimes, it even tells me, "The prior synth is not displayed on this page, please press page up." I do that, and it doesn't seem to work. What went wrong? Is there something wrong with JAWS? Is there something wrong with my installation of Caketalking? The trouble started when a warning appeared that said, "Warning: Play has detected that you do not have a valid license for all installed sections of the orchestra, please verify that the correct iLok key is plugged in and you have authorized each section that you have installed. Symphonicorchestra Brass 9 Jan 2008 1199924286673.key". I was able to re-initialize the licenses with sighted help, so those warnings don't appear any longer. However, I found out that even when I put the theme on Windows Classic, the synth rack still doesn't display correctly. Specifically what happens is the first three strips are displayed on page one, when normally there's room for at least ten strips on one page. Then when I press page down, it jumps all the way to strip 19, and I know there are synth rack strips in between. Funnily enough, it behaves correctly when JAWS is turned off. In other words, when JAS is off, I can cycle through all the Synth Rack strips by pressing the arrow keys with no problems at all. Now the question is, why can't it behave this way when JAWS is on? I'm confused! What do I do next? -- Sent from my Android device with K-9 Mail. Please excuse my brevity.
