Yes as long as you overwrite your existing normal.tpl file.

  If you want to make changes to your sonar setup, you need to make the changes 
and save them in your normal template file.  For example, to give yourself a 
two measure count in, go to the options menu and them project.  In the 
metronome tab, enter 2 as the count-in.  After exiting the dialog, and before 
recording anything into your project, save the project as a cakewalk template 
file, making sure that it goes into your templates folder.

    High all. I have two questions. I have some tracks that i've done on my 
motif and i wanted to do the drums over in sonar. I was wondering if there was 
a way to sink the metrinom with a audio project. And my second question is how 
do you save changes to the settings in sonar. I want the metrinom to give me 2 
measures and i don't want to have to set this up every time i start a new 
project
