well, that is another use for it, but UAD sent out a few tips and tricks for using the studer plug and they said that while you can certainly do that, the real advantages to it come out when applying to individual tracks or group busses. It does use a lot of resources on thee uad card though. I think if you really wanted to use 24 tracks of it and still have power to run some other plugs like reverb or chorus you would need to get the uad quad card. I only have the duo card which has always been enough before, but I ran up to the brick wall for the fist time the other day.
