Insert Q tells me II'm up to date.
Good stuff!
Thanks.

By the way, my audio drop out/slowing down grinding audio problem seems to have been resolved. I believe it was a combination of the good advice from this list as well as my having disabled the drivers for the internal sound card. I don't use the internal sound card, only my external audio controller. I runn JAWS out of a Double Talk voice synthesizer from COM port 1. I think the multiple sound drivers were fighting it out which would explain why the drop outs would occur not after the first time the project was played but got worse after the second time and then subsequent longer use would make it worse. In any event I've created a system restore point and titled it "Everything is working now"
.

Thanks, merci!

Stacy

Stacey:
There is no need to uninstall your previous installation of cake talking 6. You may want to restart your system after installing the new version. Pressing insert q should give you the proper version number of 6.2.4.

I've just installed the CT update from the dancing dots site. I believe, however, that the older 6.2 version of CT is still loading and not the 6.24 update. Is there a hot key to find out once I've opened sonar?

Also, will the previous tutorials be automatically updated or should I have uninstalled the CT folder from my programs first?

Thanks,

Stacy
