Hi Brian.

Usually, the two names that come up in these discussions are Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden. The best are apparently Taiyo Yuden, although error rates will vary from disc to disc and burner to burner. Sometimes you have to try several different blanks from various manufacturers until you come up with the one that works the best with your particular burner.

If you are sending a CDR off to a duplication house, you should ask what their maximum acceptable error rate is, and try to come in well below that number.
