Hi:
The key change feature is used for printing the music. If you want to change the notes played, you need to transpose the track.

Subject: [ddots-l] changing key signature and pitch on MIDI tracks

Howdy List,

I have changed the key signature on a MIDI track, but notice that the
pitch does not change when I do so.

Do you know if pitch change conforming to key signature changes is some
thing that sonar does? Or am I not understanding correctly what the
change in key signature feature in Sonar does and is for.

Cheers!

Ivan
