Anyway, make a loud noise into your microphone, yell or something,
and see where the peak meter on the track ends up. You want it to
be at least a few dB below 0, such as -4 dB. You can always bring
the levels up later during mixing.
Where is the master fader? ON the master bus.
I have no idea what you mean by making a cod. Do you mean a record?
