When someone refer a audio file as acidized! It means that the audio file as got information , that the softwares use to mix. Like, the key, BPM.So, it can be stretch without changing the pitch!
Also, all audio loops will play in the key define.I guess that the term acidized comes from the Acid Pro software, is a DAW that uses most of all, acid files, or audio samples, loops, etc...
Note: Sonar 8.5, read acidized audio loops, in adition can acidize a audio loop also!
