I unchecked a whole bunch during the installation process, as well as stuff I
didn't want or never ever use, like all the soft synths, and Cakewalk FX.

Suspect you will have all of those anyway as they are all installed by
default.

      Oh! Cheers!

I've never seen that one, I didn't bother installing most of the plugz
that come with Sonar...

Mike, you can easily do that affect with the Sonitus Wahwa that ships
with Sonar.

          Hey Stacy!

Re: the bass, are you after that kinda envelope follower sound, you
know, sorta funky, like a wah/wah, opening and closing very quickly?
          Something touch sensitive/velocity sensitive?

If so, you could use a touch wah plug-in, there's a few free ones out
there, but if you're looking for something a little more sophisticated, then
perhaps you need to spend a few bux...
But don't go spending a great wedge on stuff you'll never use just to
get one effect...

If you're after some free plugs for that touch-wah effect, I could
send a bunch your way.

I think its really a process of quote suck and see quote, to find
what duz the trick...

          Laters

          Mike

            Hi Mike,
Vocals and bass. I have a nice sounding envelope filter on my
sampler but I was thinking about the possibilities of an envelope filter plug
in I could use on individual sonar tracs...

            What do you think?

            Hey Stacey!

What do you wanna put thru the envelope filter, keys, guitar or
bass?

              Hi.
Anyone know of an envelope filter plug in effect that works with
the Sonar/CakeTalking combo?

Envelopoe filter might be called other things too, but it is the
effect that sort of muffles a sound and allows you to open the soudn again in a
kind of swooshing sweeping effect. The envelope can open quickly or slowly
with more or less intensity.

Thanks and sorry bout my non technical quick and dirty
explanation.
