Absolutely. I bought it for the nostalgia value of the PPG, though it's
still a great synth for ripping through a mix. Attack and D-Pole were nice
to get thrown in on the deal, but I've really enjoyed playing with both of
them. D-Pole can do some really outrageous things to a sound and all the
parameters are available via the Track Inspector - hook them up to some
physical knobs and it's just about as much fun as you can have with your
clothes on (OK, I know I need to get out more...).

Best wishes.

Hi Tim,

Have you used this bundle with Sonar and CakeTalking? And with success?
Many thanks!
Sounds promicing.

Hi,

The Waldorf Edition bundle contains the D-Pole filter which has a full set
of automatable parameters and should do what you want.

In the same bundle you'll also get the PPG Wave 2.V (a truly great and very
accurate software rendering of the PPG Wave 2.3 synth from the 80s - I can
vouch for its quality, as I used to own the original hardware) and the
Attack drum synth (great for those Roland CR78 and Simmons sounds).

The whole bundle cost me £38, so nobody could say it's expensive for what
you're getting (the PPG 2.V used to be £200 on its own).

Best wishes.

Subject: [ddots-l] envelope filter?

Hi.
Anyone know of an envelope filter plug in effect that works with the
Sonar/CakeTalking combo?

Envelopoe filter might be called other things too, but it is the effect that
sort of muffles a sound and allows you to open the soudn again in a kind of
swooshing sweeping effect. The envelope can open quickly or slowly with
more or less intensity.

Thanks and sorry bout my non technical quick and dirty explanation.
