What I like is that there are several ways to do it. For all types of delay and reverb, You can send to a bus and automate the bus. Or you can automate effects parameters in their dialogs. However, with compressors or amplifier simulators, you may only want to automate from the effects dialogs.

Is it possible to fade an effect in or out of a portion of a given track?

For example,if I have a track with clean guitar and use the distortion amp sym effect, is it possible to slect part of the track and have the effect build from dry to as wet as it can get?

I want the distortion to build from clean to dirty (if that makes sense).

Thanks.

Stacy
