Giga Studio added what was called Gigapulse impulses and round robin
capabilities to avoid the machinegun effect that comes from triggering the
same sample on the same note repeatedly, among other things.
If you don't already own a copy of Giga, I don't know how you would
install it. Make sure that if you buy it second hand, you get all the
serial numbers and unlock codes. As I recall, you don't use a challenge
response thing from a website. But I don't remember exactly what you do
have to do. It's been so long.

Gigasampler was the original product which transformed itself into
Gigastudio, but I can't say that I know what changed in the transition,
other than the name.
