Hi Tom,

The Akai MPC (music production center) drum machine/sampler is not
accessible straight out of the box but like a lot of gear, with some knob
turn and menu memorization, you can do just about 99% of what anyone else
can do with it. Adrian aka Driza even has 5 tutorials online for the MPC
1000 ideal for blind musicians. The link is under his shop link found here
www.driza.info

I agree, those youtube videos are great and full of music production ideas
even if you never get an MPC.
Stacy

hey thanks for these links they were fun to listen to. Using that type of
equipment is way over my head. Is any of the sample geer acessible? I
would love to learn how to use some on my tracks.
Thanks Tom

Wassamatta with him, he never heard of Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks, the
Edgar Winter Group, and Shawn Philips before? A culturally deprived
musician if ever there was one!

It's amazing what interesting things you can pick up frojm the bargain-bin
nickel-and-dime record stores, take home, sample, and play with, all
royalty-free.
