Alright, here are 6 youtube videos I found. Even though they are mostly based on the Akai MPC (music production centre) machine, these are all inspiring and laced with gold nuggets of music production ideas, concepts, styles and good times in the studio. All 6 of these videos got both sides covered, yeah, yeah, super and dooper! 1. DJ Jacpot presents the Beat Journey. (is this one a short film or a music making tutorial? Ha! I'd say it's both.) <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-V6z7BKiaCw&feature=PlayList&p=0687FF672F0A4 22B&index=27&playnext=5&playnext_from=PL>
Wassamatta with him, he never heard of Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks, the Edgar Winter Group, and Shawn Philips before? A culturally deprived musician if ever there was one! It's amazing what interesting things you can pick up frojm the bargain-bin nickel-and-dime record stores, take home, sample, and play with, all royalty-free.
