It's enough to start having some fun making music!
Sonar 8.5 at the moment is quite advanced in this matter, nice important
tools, In my opinian!
It's important to have all machine well config folowing the setup step by
step manuals recommendations, plus to know a bit of evry feature of this
DAW, of course it will only happens making music.
Explore what Sonar have to give! learn reading the step by step manuals,
start with AAA templates and make lots of questions to this great list.

I have 289 gb on my c on the laptop and 272 gb on my desktop, I think that
is no problem :).
My d-drive on my desktop has 60à gb.
The easyist to do is to get them all on the same drive.?

Correct! if not Sonar will giv a error message.
But only happens if you open a Sonar project that it's using one of
those librarys.

But when I install the samples and audiolibrary on an external drive, i
always had to connect that drive while working on Sonar off caurse.

Agreed! the same as Omnisphere per example, so it's important to remenber
that through instalation, wecan choose where to instal the samples
library.
For example choose to instal the software in Disc C, and those huge
sample
library's in a extra drive or external USB Drive!

the superior libraries are pretty big especially if you go the whole 9
