Well, in the very old days with slow machines, it was sometimes necessary to set the resolution to 48 or 96 to prevent the midi data from clogging up, but those days are long gone now. The midi stream really uses a small fraction of processing power, so I can't imagine wanting to lower it. I think some packages like cubase and logic may even go up to 1920 ticks, but I'm not sure. I'm wondering why would you want to set it to 120 or another number? God bless you! Not necessarily. Depends on what you set it for in Sonar. You can set 96, 120, 240, etc. Dave ----- Original Message ----- From: Neville Peter To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, September 17, 2008 7:16 PM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: how many ticks per beat?
