Almost forgot Stephanie, if you're using CT 4, go to chapter 28, section H. It
explains everything.
If you're not using CT 4, the same applies, check the delete hole, in the
delete dialog box.

  Stephanie
Did you check the box for delete hole?
If you did, they are not going to be there. If you forgot, they will still
have them.

    HI,

I use the playback metronome to find out if the measures are truly gone.
I've tried your suggestions with Control-Delete, and they're still there.
Thanks, though.

Select the bars you want to delete, control+delete and check the box
"delete hole"
      This should do the trick.

I have six empty measures at the end of a SONAR file. I have tried
cutting, deleting, and using the Delete dialog with markers to get rid of this
area of silence with no success. Any other things I can do? I really don't
want all that silence at the end of the piece!!
