I know the controls of the linnier compressor, but I'm not sure still how to
produce something satisfactory. Every time I use it and export my audio file
they are much too soft. Oh there is still so much to learn and hardly not
enough time to learn it all.

May the peace of God which passes all understanding guard your heart and
mind in Christ Jesus. God bless you!

Brian, one thing to remember is this.

Learn what all the controls do in the plug-ins you do have. If you
had every plug-in imaginable on hand, but didn't know what you were
doing, it really wouldn't matter. Right?

It probably varies from person to person, but in my case, EQ
changes are obvious to my ear, and I can pinpoint the frequency
involved fairly fast. That part came easy. But it took me ages to
learn to hear compression, especially learning to notice different
attack and release characteristics. That part I found hard. But,
someone else might find that easy to hear, and find EQ changes
harder.

Chris
