Aah, you are one of those folks who purchased a Sonar 8.5 serial number and
a download upgrade to Sonar 8.5 me thinks, smile so no Sonar 8.5 box
required from DD. Never did that here however, keep all latest patches and
latest full Sonar package around as it's a good idea to do that.

Subject: [ddots-l] patching up Sonar producer from 8.0 to 8.5.3
I am finding it difficult to patch up my version of Sonar from 8.0 to 8.5.3
which I haven't used for years, and I want to start using it with the
CakeTalking scripts.
How do I go about patching it up? I have been trying to do this but I can't
seem to find the correct patches.
Is there a list of patches that I can simply go to and then download?
