Hi Chris, Yes, am in track view and now when I press enter on volume and use up and down arrows to select a value plus or minus zero, I now have to enter the text and doesn't scrole through the selections; hope this makes since. Now, when I press enter on volume and if I press the arrow up once, it will start saying something about various settings such as recording engine..... Everything works as normal except when going to volume and or trem. and won't let me adjust unless I actually put in the number... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Smart" <csmart8@xxxxxxxxx>

up and down with the arrows? do you mean the ValueChange hotkeys?

I haven't been following this discussion, so I'm assuming we're talking about a track's main volume control.

Hello, I did turn out being on the track view and still no luck determining what mihgt be open that would cause this. Everything else acts as normal except for volume adjustment. Will run through everything again but definitely driving me crazy. i can enter a number by the keyboard and press enter and then that track's volume will be brought to the new level, but no way to go up and down with the arrows to get plus and minus values as i could before.

Hi,

Usually that could happen if you have a plugin open, with control tab, check it and close it with control f4. Then press f6 to display and refresh track view.

Or. press shift arrows right or left, it must be define as a
 custom cake talking tab.

Or. Go to view options and check if you are on the track view. just in case of you have opened another view or feature.

good luck!

 best regards,

Subject: [ddots-l] problem adjusting volume on tracks

Hello Friends,
Well, have obviously changed a setting by mistake and now am not able to adjust the volume on individual tracks. Another words, will have a project open and usually if I press enter when over volume on track 1, I could usually go up and down with the arrows and could select a value plus or minus db on a track that already has something recorded on it..... Well, now this doesn't happen and when I go up or down with the arrows it just mentions something about processing rate etc. Obviously have done something and hoping someone has an idea of what it could be. Any suggestions are greatly appreciate as what I might have done and how to put it back correctly. It is hard enough using the volume this way using software rather than a mixer with real faders and knobs (control surface) but now appears to have no control at all. Please help. Sincerely, Dave
