Hey Terry forgot to mention that you should try to turn off the fantom power,
because it may be one of your mic’s that can also cause the issue.
Finally also check your hub, because they are the first to go lol.

Dear list, My soundcraft signature mtk22 started malfunctioning
yesterday. It was on in the studio, but I was eating lunch in my
kitchen. I kept hearing this strange popping sound coming from my
studio. When I went in, the board was trying over and over to turn
it's self on, like it was stuck in a loop or something. I tried to
shut down and restart, but it kept doing the same thing. Could it be a
bad usb cable? Or maybe, because the power plug is underneath the
board, maybe it has shorted out or something? I tried a new power
cord, but no diference. I am going to have a friend bring a diferent
usb cable to see if that changes anything. Any ideas or suggestions
would be most helpful. I've only had this board for about a year or
