OK, that URL is actually: http://www.dancingdots.com/ct/SFZInstructions.doc Somehow, Mike tacked on an extra letter c to that address. :) I have not tried to write any sfz code myself. If you like to tinker, you will love this document! I haven't gotten deeply into writing SFZ files as I haven't had a whole lot of time to sit down and learn the code. It's not difficult other than it's time-consuming. It's pretty neat the way it all works; I do want to get into it at some point hopefully in the not too distant future. Sorry I couldn't help you immediately; but you can go to http://www.dancingdots.com/ct/SFZInstructions.docc You can get more details on it there. I'm sure there are more publications out there that'll give you in depth instruction that I'm not aware of right off the top of my head. Hope this all helps. I got them from the tr-808 zone website. I want to create my own kits from scratch. I know how to load the samples into each pad. Is their a way to load the samples such as op high-hat closed high-hat, handclaps and the others to each midi note number? I would appreciate some help on this.
