[ddots-l] recorded audio

Hi everybody,
I am having a problem with my recorded audio.
On playback it plays slightly ahead of the metronome click of the project.
so then I have to give it about 3 small nudges backward to put it on point.
I've tried moving the latency and even move the offset in the global but I
am not getting any results.
Iam working with a creation station with window7, sonar 8.5 and it's
upgrades
and my soundcard is Mackie 1640 onyx firewire.
Can anybody give me any suggestions or advice To fix this problem.
