Hey nuttin much on this end of the woods, lol. Bbut thanks for your response. Iwas just trying to figure out if I could of record with sonitus compression directly onto the track verses using an external compression/limiter. That is all I was trying to find out. -----Original Message----- From: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Neville Peter Sent: Wednesday, April 23, 2014 10:28 PM To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ddots-l] Re: recording compression in real time Hey what's up Bolo, You would have to do that destructively. It is really not necessary to do that as your settings will remain when you bounce the whole project down to wave or MP3. It is much better to put it on your track set it the way you like it or record automation if you need to and then just leave it alone after that. If you do it destructively, you won't be able to change it. that is why it is called destructive editing. -----Original Message----- From: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Sergio Felicano Sent: Wednesday, April 23, 2014 7:48 PM To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ddots-l] Re: recording compression in real time Hi I am aware that if I put it in the effects bin or in a buss I can manipulate it after the track is recorded. But what I want to know if it is possible to record the compression at the sane time onto the track with the audio in real time? sergio -----Original Message----- From: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jack Conti Sent: Wednesday, April 23, 2014 12:53 PM To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ddots-l] Re: recording compression in real time sure put in in the effects bin set its parameters the way you want and there you have it. either you put it on a track or a bus...
