No thanks, that's why we are here on this list.
I use a scarlett 8I6 interface and all the settings must have done by a
helper on the helpdesk of my musicdealer.
I have asked them if they can do a phonecall at the factory to ask if they
can make their mixcontrolpanel more usefull for visual impared people.
with keyboardcommands etc...
Now I don't know how I can navigate trough the mixcontroloptions.
let me know if this is ok yet?

Thanks for the suggestion Johan. I?m at work at the moment so will try this
once I get back. Although I doubt it?s a software issue it doesn?t hurt to
try all the possible options. I must admit that I haven?t reset the mix
control in quite a while as it was never necessary.

Hi Calvin,
Maybe your mixcontrol settings are a little bit strange?
My suggestion is: look at your control from your interface how the faders
are set.
Another possibility is to set default your settings and than resetting al
your controllers and faders.
open the filemenu and there go to open.
In that window, enter on the file named default, save to hardware than and
close your mixcontrol.
is it now ok?

Good day, or night to all! I have a little problem with my saffire pro24?s
headphone output. About a month ago I noticed that everytime I?d power up my
saffire, the left channel on the headphone output would be softer then the
right, and the audio passing through this channel from a media player, soft
synth or any form of audio I?d send through the device wasn?t clean. By this
I mean that it sounded almost as if their was a faulty connection within the
device. I realized however, that if I sent a loud portion of audio through
the saffire the problem would be fixed for a few days and then it would
occur again. Interestingly enough, the audio coming from the line outputs is
flawless. Yesterday the problem seems to have become permanent and no matter
what I do the left channel is still faulty! I also noticed that my left xlr
combi input is much softer then the right.
I?m running win 7 ultimate 32 bit with sonar from a hp dv6 laptop (not like
that matters, as the problem seems to be hardware related). Could this have
been caused by a power surge? Or maybe something might have happened during
transportation as I use my equipment at varsity, church, home and at a
studio?
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
