Thank you Mike. How would I scrub in the clips pane then? I'm trying to
delete breaths from a vocal track and it's pretty challenging.

  Brian,

I have the Frontier Tranzport; and though I like it very much, I don't do too
much scrubbing with it any more as I get random crashes. It doesn't seem to
matter how large or small a project is, just that it happens right when you go
into scrub mode. I'm running an XP machine with all the pertinent updates, etc,
including the latest versions of JAWS, Sonar, and CakeTalking. I heard reports
of crashes happening on machines as up-to-date as Windows7, so my suggestion to
you would be to use the Scrub Mode with care.

The way you do it is that you hold down both the Stop and Play buttons, then
use your jog wheel to scrub back and forth through your audio. When you're
ready to leave Scrub Mode, just release the buttons.

I'm doing all of my scrubbing in the clips pane now as it's very reliable,
and I haven't had major crashes when I do it. It may not be exactly like
turning a jog wheel back and forth, but I've learned how to zoom things in so
that I can scrub with fine detail.

  Hope this helps you.

  Mike

Just was curious to see if anyone on the list is using the frontier
tranzport and if so, how do we scrub with this control surface? Thanks,
    Brian
