Hey Ivan, I looked in to this further and did it myself. Go to the output and even if it is assigned to a soft synth hit enter and arrow up to the new drum map sub menue. Right arrow and hit enter on the triple A all keys chan 1. Note because it is assigned to that drum map, it will not allow you to bring up the synth properties with control Y. However, once you are done with your melody, you can reassign back to your synth and choose different presets if need be or change parameters.
