Exactly what Dave said.
The CakeTalking Tutorial, plus Sonar's Online help, and maybe a book like Scott Garrigus's Sonar Power will all help. Put the time in, try lots, etc.
Try making some of your own recordings or taking a college course or two in recording, production, etc. once you feel comfortable with the basics of Sonar.

hey!
I want to learn how sonar and ct.
I intend to buy Mackie Onyx 820i and yetti a mickrophone from blumic.
but do not intend to buy some expensive stuff that is only here at home. 
've learned sonar little to do solo and arm unsolo.
but Word documents are good for ct but not enough.
for me.

har lärt mig sonar lite att  göra arm solo och  unsolo .
