Okay, then when I am ready to record the midi tracks into audio tracks, would
I send the input to which ever inputs of the card the external synth is plugged
into?

Dont send them to the same inputs as your vocals and you should be fine.

      Hello,

I'm using an RME Fireface as a stand-alone interface and not with a
mixer. If I'm recording vocals, and wish to have the midi tracks playing while
the person is singing, how would I prevent the midi tracks from being recorded
onto the audio track where the vocals are going?

      Thanks.
