[ddots-l] tempo question

Hi everybody on the list!
I have a little question about tempos here.
Let's say that I'd like to do a recording in 120BPM and on one spot I'd like to
have the tempo a little slower but after a few bars I'dlike to have it back to
120 again. how is that posible?
In some songs I've heard that at the end of it the song slows down and that
thing is working pretty good but in some songs I'd like to make it go faster
and faster.
can I do the same procedure as sloing it down but on the other way?
