Sure you can do that.  If you want a gradual accelerando, just set your from 
and thru points for the area you wnat the change to occur, then chooes "series 
of tempos" from the insert menu and set the starting tempo to the current tempo 
and the ending tempo to a higher value.  Of course, you may need to do some 
experimentation until you get it right.

  I have a little question about tempos here.
  Let's say that I'd like to do a recording in 120BPM and on one spot I'd like 
to have the tempo a little slower but after a few bars I'dlike to have it back 
to 120 again. how is that posible?
  In some songs I've heard that at the end of it the song slows down and that 
thing is working pretty good but in some songs I'd like to make it go faster 
and faster.
  can I do the same procedure as sloing it down but on the other way?
